FNPH Kaduna Supports Mental Health Integration into Primary Healthcare
The Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital (FNPH), Kaduna, under the leadership of its Medical Director, supported a stakeholder engagement organized by KADSAMHSA in partnership with the Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Board (KSPHCB) on the integration of mental health services into primary healthcare across Kaduna State.
The meeting brought together Health Secretaries, Facility Managers, Medical Officers, and other stakeholders from the 23 LGAs to discuss strategies for strengthening mental health screening, referral pathways, intervention services, and coordinated service delivery at the community level.
FNPH Kaduna reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at expanding access to quality mental healthcare and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders to improve mental health outcomes across the state.
The programme was implemented with the support of FNPH Kaduna, KADCHMA, and the Kaduna State Ministry of Health.
